'Creations' are audio-visual artworks that are a core part of the NEW STAGES CREATIONS, enabling us to reveal the aesthetic power of music performance in a uniquely creative way. The 'Trenzinho do Caipira', or 'The Little Train of the Caipira', is originally the fourth movement of the Bachianas Brasileiras no. 02, and one of Villa-Lobos's most well-known works worldwide. Here this timeless work receives a special treatment in a special arrangement for viola caipira (a Brazilian 5 double steel-string guitar), pifano (an indigenous South-American bamboo flute), and percussive effects.
